The apartment building with 64 dormitory apartments and the caretaker apartment is part of the new residential area of "Mautner Markhof Gründe" around Franz-Haas-Platz, named after the former district leader.
The fully furnished one-room dormitory apartments are located on the first, second and third floor, and each one has a recessed balcony as an outdoor area. They are supplemented by a common room.
Location[
Enkplatz, diagonally across the street, is the main square and centre of the district of Simmering. The "Enkplatz" U- 3- Station, the district municipal authority office, shops and restaurants are grouped around around the impressive Immaculate Conception church (Maria-Empfängnis-Kirche). A few steps further is the park at Herder Platz. With a car, you can reach the "St. Marx" exit of the south east tangent A23 after about one kilometre.
