Description
The Mokereistraße apartment building is nestled in the residential area of Molkereistraße and is described as a green area near the city. The residential property was built on the foundation of the former dairy with some renovation and is bordered by Wohlmutstraße, Obermüllnerstraße, Molkereistraße and Stuwerstraße, named after the Viennese fireworks family, Stuwer, who had to make way for the World Fair and finally left Vienna in 1876 with a last display of fireworks.
Merely two kilometres separate the residential home from the city centre. The nearby U1, the development of private transport via Handelskai, Praterstern and Lassallestraße, but also the continuation of the U2, optimise the area as far as transportation is concerned.
Crossing the nearby "Wurstelprater" that was already a popular amusement site in 1800, you come to the wide open, natural "green Prater". The exhibition grounds, the Krieau racetrack, the Ernst-Happel Stadium as well as the velodrome, sports fields, game and camping fields are located there.
