Apartment Building Breitenfurter Straße

The area of the former brewery has been redeveloped from the aqueduct at Maurer Berg almost to Liesinger Platz. There is the "Riverside" shopping centre, around 600 apartments, the 132 furnished dormitory apartments, office space and a kindergarten on the approximately ten hectare area of the former brewery. The apartments are part of this new development, designed by the world famous Viennese architect office, "Coop Himmelb(l)au". 

Between these tracts, the "Plaza" is about five metres above the street level. The upper floor of the "Riverside" shopping mall is also directly accessible from the "Plaza".

Around sixty metres north of Breitenfurter Straße, an enormous gate leads through the dormitory and apartment building complex to a forested cliff that is three hectares in size. There are public footpaths between the trees.
